"The Revival"

"Lamentation" painted by Giotto depicts the revival of christ.To emphasize the significance of this death, Giotto adds many more people on the left side, although with less detail in order to include as many as possible. Angels with comparable looks of regret and sorrow can be found at the top of the scene.
